Schumacher had no troubles with the new F 310 Ferrari at Estoril (Portugal) yesterday. He completed the planned 71 laps. A second F 310 was made in the factory at Maranello (Italy) for Eddie Irvine on Saturday, he has tested it at Fiorano today. Schumacher was not so fortunate in today's session: the tests were stopped due to heavy rain. Schumacher drove 14 laps on a dry track with a best of 1:23.83 and 20 on a wet circuit of the planned Grand Prix distance. The tests will continue at Maranello because of bad weather forecasts at Estoril. Schumacher said after the today's tests: "The new Ferrari felt more gentle than the Benetton did last year."
