The Ferrari bosses face renewal calls for Ferrari to quit Formula One after the Ferrari disease struck again during the last Grand Prix at Magny-Cours, where Ferrari saw both their cars retire very early in the race due to technical problems. However Luca di Montezemolo, Ferrari president, is encouraging the team to continue working on the car without paying any notice to what is said.

The Italian press literally destroyed any credibility Ferrari had left after the miss at Canada.

Jean Todt said it was his "blackest day" in motorsport racing and he said he would retire if Ferrari asked him to.
