Bad weather continues at Jerez; Tyrrell-Ford unveils new car

It was another day with rain at the Jerez (Spain) track. This seemed to be possitive for the new Stewart team. Rubens Barrichello clocked the fastest time of the day ahead of his team-mate Jan Magnussen.

Michael Schumacher was still not very happy with the Ferrari but he commented: "We are still in the learning phase. I have to get to know the car better."

World Champion Damon Hill was hoping for a complete day of testing but ended up in the garage with a cluth problem.


Tyrrell-Ford unveils new car

The Tyrrell team have unveiled their 025 in London (England) today with their drivers Mika Salo and Jos Verstappen. The Tyrrell team will use a Ford V8, they used the Yamaha engine last season, and Goodyear tyres this year.

The new Tyrrell will have his first test at Silverstone (England) at Wednesday if all goes well.
