Peugeot, now the engine supplier of Jordan, have postponed the decision about continuing their deal with the team. Peugeot, who have already have a three year deal with Prost after this season, are still figuring out the cost of an endeavour of supplying two teams, they had said there would be a decision before the French grand Prix. Peugeot said the talks with Jordan were not over yet.

Prost signs Trulli

After all the speculations of the replacement of the injured Olivier Panis would be Martin Brundle or Emmanuel Collard, Prost has signed the other driver: Jarno Trulli. Trulli drove for Minardi this season and got a testing opportunity last week with the French team. Alain Prost showed himself to be very happy about this: 'During the tests Jarno showed he is a fast and reliable driver.'

Prost added: 'I want to thank Giancarlo Minardi for letting Trulli go before the French Grand Prix.'

Trulli's Minardi spot will most likely be filled by test driver Tarso Marques.
