Heinz-Harald Frentzen, Benson and Hedges Jordan Grand Prix's new driver and team mate to Damon Hill for the 1999 season, spent two days with his new team this week at the factory in Silverstone. Heinz-Harald visited his race engineer, Sam Michael, and mechanics Andy Stevenson and Patrick Grandidier, for a seat-fitting.

Andy Stevenson, Heinz-Harald's number one mechanic, explained, "We asked Heinz-Harald to come to the factory so we could make some modifications to his seat. When he tested with us in Suzuka, after the Japanese Grand Prix, he said he thought his seat could be more comfortable, so we have worked on making some modifications. The more comfortable he is, the faster he will drive!"

Working with his new team, Frentzen said, "It is a good opportunity to meet everyone at the factory and to get to know my new team. It is really important for us to get to know each other as early as possible. There are four mechanics working here who were working for Jordan when I drove for the team in F3000 back in 1990, including my number one mechanic, Andy (Stevenson), so I already feel quite at home."

The Benson and Hedges Jordan team will commence its winter testing schedule next week, when Damon Hill tests in Barcelona, Spain on 1st and 2nd December. Frentzen will test in Jerez the following week on the 8th, 9th and 10th.
