Ford announced today that it will extend it's contract with the Stewart team until 2001. Ford will supply the Stewart team with a brand new V10 engine next season.

The statement said: "Stewart Grand Prix is making organisational and staffing changes placing greater focus on design, engineering and management."

Team-boss Jackie Stewart said: "I am very pleased that Ford have confirmed their deep commitment to our team for a further three years of Formula One racing."
