Villeneuve: "You don't get any speed at this circuit. It's just corner after corner with hairpins and tight chicanes, although there are a few nice bends. There is a good rhythm but there's a definite lack of speed."

Salo: "I think of the Argentine track as a 'Mickey Mouse' circuit. It's very modern, very bumpy with only first- and second-gear corners to be experienced."

Panis: "If you are behind someone who doesn't want to be overtaken, it is very difficult to overtake. So it will be important to qualify well."

Hill: "I like turn four best. "It is possible to go into it very fast, but it's a long corner so you have to slow down progressively into it, which means it's a good balance test under braking. There's a bump on the exit which, if you hit it, really wakes you up."
