Ecclestone Bernie Ecclestone has moved the floatation of Formula One one step closer. He has launched a US$2 billion Eurobond offer. The revenue of these bonds will come from live TV broadcasting. These broadcasts are worth about US$120 million a year.
Ecclestone said: "This transaction is good news for Formula One as it paves the way for the company's flotation."
The beneficiary of this family trust will be Slavica Ecclestone.

The actual move to the exchange is not yet possible pending the inquiry of the European Commission. This investigation concerns the deal Ecclestone made with certain companies. Several Formula One teams had also some problems with the way the earnings were split.
