Fiorano

Once again today, bad weather interrupted Scuderia Ferrari-Marlboro's testing schedule. Testing began at 09h50. On a track that was at first damp and then wet, Michael Schumacher did three long runs this morning, totaling 39 laps, with a best time of 1m 07.018s. Around 11h30 the snow began to fall with increasing strength, forcing the test to be abandoned at 12h00. Eddie Irvine only managed two runs for a total of 18 laps. His best time was 1m 07.331s. Because of the adverse weather conditions, the test schedule for the next few days is not confirmed.
