The FIA has now officially moved from Paris, France, to Geneva, Switzerland. Max Mosley stated part of reason for moving: "We're never going to have a problem with the government over motorsport here, because there isn't any."

Another reason for moving was because they decided to share offices with the International Touring Alliance.
