Brembo, the Italian company supplying Ferrari brake components, have issued a statement today claiming no responsibility for Michael Schumacher's accident last week, at the British Grand Prix. "After the first check, made in Maranello together with Ferrari, it has been clarified that the reasons of the unlucky accident occurred to Michael Schumacher are not related to any failure of Brembo components," said the statement.

The statement comes after Ferrari suggested Schumacher's accident might have been due to a problem with the particles supplied by Brembo.
