Damon Hill has assured the Jordan Grand Prix team that he will continue racing until the end of the season, albeit his previous allusions that he may want to quit racing now.

"Damon has never liked the feel of the brake system which we used for safety reasons during the race at Hockenheim," said Jordan's commercial director, Ian Phillips, to the Guardian newspaper. "It was very disappointing but that's an end to it. He has stated that he is going to drive through to the end of the season and that's absolutely what he's going to do."

Damon Hill will be joining teammate Heinz Harald Frentzen tomorrow, at the Silverstone track, where the Jordan team began today a three-days testing session.
