Testing at Barcelona - Day Two

Friday December 10th, 1999

Jean Alesi David Coulthard was once again the fastest man on the track today. This continued his run at the top of the testing times since testing recommenced on December 1, Coulthard finishing the day just ahead of McLaren test driver Olivier Panis.

Continuing to show impressive speed, Jarno Trulli was third fastest for Jordan, who also ran Formula 3000 driver Tomas Enge in the afternoon. Enge did some testing work with electronics, as well as familiarising himself with the car and track ahead of a full day of testing which he is due to complete tomorrow.Pedro Diniz

Ralf Schumacher managed to take more than a second off his Thursday time to finish the day fourth fastest, the BMW-powered car showing increasing pace, while Mark Webber also improved in his second day in a Formula One car.
