Tuesday November 30th, 1999

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Jordan Grand Prix Ltd have signed an agreement covering brand development in their respective North American and European markets. This will mean that both parties will work together on the growth of their brands within the stated global areas.

IMS Properties, the retail marketing arm of Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation, will be responsible for promoting the Jordan Grand Prix brand name properties across the United States, Mexico, Canada and other markets as opportunities arise.

"Indianapolis is one of the most famous motor sport venues in the World," confirmed Eddie Jordan. "I am delighted that Jordan has this new association, given the importance of next year's U.S. Grand Prix and our determination to make Indianapolis a permanent fixture on the Formula One calendar. This deal reflects Jordan's innovative approach to building its international profile and gives the Indianapolis Motor Speedway an excellent platform within Formula One."
