Eddie Jordan, Chief Executive of Jordan Grand Prix, today announced a new long-term contract with Bridgestone.

"A strong relationship with a tyre manufacturer is imperative to any bid for the World Championship," said Jordan, "and this contract with Bridgestone is crucial to Jordan’s planning.

"We have developed an enormous respect for the Bridgestone engineers and look forward to working even more closely with them in exciting challenges ahead."
