 Sato to Test for BAR Friday December 15th, 2000 British Formula Three star Takuma Sato will test with the BAR team at the Barcelona circuit next week, as part of the team's driver development program that will also see Marc Hynes at the wheel of the car. Japanese Sato, who finished in third position in the 2000 British Formula Three Championship, made his Formula One debut with the Jordan team last week at Jerez. The driver development program has been put into place with a view to finding new young talent, and is part of the Brackley based team's future plans. During the two days in Barcelona they will be tested on speed, technical feedback and fitness.
