1987: BMW, supplier of the powerplant of the Arrows car, pulls out of F1 but USF&G-owned Megatron buys the rights to the engine; Team finishes 6th in the Constructors' Championship with Derek Warwick and Eddie Cheever
1988: Team finishes 4th in the Constructors' Championship with Derek Warwick and Eddie Cheever; Derek Warwick finishes 7th in the Drivers' Championship
1989: Arrows F1 Technical Centre opened at Milton Keynes; in November the team is bought by Wataru Ohashi’s Footwork Corp.; Team finishes 7th in the Constructors' Championship with Derek Warwick and Eddie Cheever
1990: Ross Brawn replaced by James Robinson; Alan Jenkins appointed Technical Director; Team finishes 9th in the Constructors' Championship with Michele Alboreto and Alex Caffi
1991: In June, Ford Cosworth V8 replaces Porsche engine with which the team started the season with; The 0.4 scale wind tunnel opens at Arrows Technical Centre; Team finishes 9th in the Constructors' Championship with Michele Alboreto and Alex Caffi
1992: Team finishes 7th in the Constructors' Championship with Michele Alboreto and Aguri Suzuki
1993: Team finishes 9th in the Constructors' Championship with Derek Warwick and Aguri Suzuki
1994: Previous owners Jackie Oliver and Alan Rees take over the running of the team under its former name of Arrows Grand Prix International Limited; Team finishes 9th in the Constructors' Championship with Christian Fittipaldi and Gianni Morbidelli
1995: Jackie Oliver and Alan Rees regained ownership of the team with no further involvement from Footwork other than the designation of the chassis; Team finishes 8th in the Constructors' Championship with Gianni Morbidelli, Taki Inoue and Max Papis
1996: TWR Group takes control of Arrows team and moves to TWR Group Headquarters in Leafield, Oxon; Team finishes 9th in the Constructors' Championship with Ricardo Rosset and Jos Verstappen
1997: In May, John Barnard appointed Technical Director; Team finishes 8th in the Constructors' Championship with Damon Hill and Pedro Diniz
1998: Consortium of Morgan Grenfell Private Equity, Prince Malik Ado Ibrahim and Tom Walkinshaw restructure ownership of Arrows Grand Prix; Team finishes 7th in the Constructors' Championship with Pedro Diniz and Mika Salo
1999: Roger Silman appointed Managing Director and Mike Coughlan appointed Technical Director; Team finishes 9th in the Constructors' Championship with Pedro De La Rosa and Toranosuke Takagi
