Jerez Testing - Day Two

Eddie Irvine in JerezSaturday January 15th, 2000

Jaguar's new boy Eddie Irvine set the fastest time today, on the second day of the testing session in Jerez.

Irvine was less than a tenth faster than second place Pedro Diniz in a Sauber, but over a second faster than teammate Johnny Herbert, who ran on an old set of tyres. The McLaren pair of David Coulthard and Olivier Panis were fourth and fifth respectively.

Testing continues at Jerez tomorrow.
