FIA Announce 2001 Provisional Calendar

The FIA has announced the provisional calendar for the 2001 Formula One season.

The major change is that the Malaysian Grand Prix has been moved from the last event of the season to the second event for 2001.

  • May 27, Monaco
  • June 10, Canada (Montreal)
  • June 24, Europe (Nurburgring)
  • July 8, France (Magny-Cours)
  • July 22, Austria (Spielberg)
  • August 5, Germany (Hockenheim)
  • August 19, Hungary (Hungaroring)
  • September 2, Belgium (Spa)
  • September 16, Italy (Monza)
  • September 30, United States (Indianapolis)
