Head Under No Illusion for Barcelona

Friday April 20th, 2001

Williams technical director Patrick Head has said that he is not confident of success at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona on April 29, despite Ralf Schumacher's maiden Formula One win at Imola last weekend.

Head suggested that his team's previous recent tests at the Circuit de Catalunya had given him a strong indication that Williams faced a major battle to claim to back-to-back Grand Prix wins.

"We've got one race win this year and we are looking for a couple and after winning you might say we are looking for the next one in the next race," Head said.

"But in our last two tests in Barcelona we looked not very good and given that we were quick there at the end of January, it was not so special. But I think we can sort that one out."
