Badoer Practices Starts at Fiorano

Thursday August 9th, 2001

While the teams are banned from testing this week, Ferrari took advantage of the 50kms allowed and began today, with test driver Luca Badoer practicing starts at Fiorano.

Badoer concentrated entirely on practice starts, which in total do not amount to more than a few kms - meaning Ferrari are still within what is allowed, and will be able to run a separate shakedown as well.

Badoer will be back at Fiorano on Monday next week, to carry out the shakedown of the three F2001 which will be used in the Budapest race, running the remaining kms left of the 50 alloted.
