Ferrari Shake Down at Fiorano

Monday August 13th, 2001

Italian driver Luca Badoer was in action on Monday at the Fiorano circuit to shake down two of the three Ferrari chassis the Maranello team will use at the upcoming Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest.

Badoer completed a total of ten laps around the Italian track, five of those around the short version of the circuit, driving Rubens Barrichello's car as well as the spare machine to be used at the Hungaroring. His best lap was 1:01.512.

The test driver will be back in action at Fiorano on Tuesday to shake down Michael Schumacher's racing car.
