Benetton driver Giancarlo Fisichella has said that Jenson Button is one of the best teammates he has worked with since he joined Formula One and he believes the Briton only needs more experience to succeed.
Italian Fisichella, who has outqualified his teammate eleven times in thirteen races, has heaped praise on Button, who has come under pressure this season after a string of poor performances in the team's changing car.
"It is difficult for him and it's difficult for me especially because the car is not good enough," said Fisichella. "The engine is not strong, and for us it is a tough season.
"It is important to be quick, to do your best and Jenson is struggling with the set-up of the car. He needs more experience but I think soon he is going to be good. Compared to other teammates I think he is one of the strongest, but he needs more experience."
Button has scored just two points this season, compared to the twelve he secured last year in his debut season with BMW-Williams. Fisichella has scored four points.
