Williams' Colombian star Juan Pablo Montoya hopes to be able to see the chequered flag more often in the remaining four races of the 2001 season.
Montoya moved to Formula One at the start of the year after spending two years in American ChampCar racing, but he has finished just four out of 13 races in his Grand Prix debut season so far.
"I expected to finish more races," admitted Montoya. "Last year was a very bad year for me in terms of non finishes and this is fairly similar. But it has been okay, learning a lot, especially in the last few races. I just have to keep pushing."
And Montoya believes that things may turn around in the run-in to the season as he expects the tracks that make up the final four races will suit him and his high-speed-favouring Williams FW23 perfectly.
"On fast tracks we have a good handle on the car and from here we should have some really good races," he added. "The results come and go, especially on slower tracks, but that is not a chassis problem - it is just that the package is not suited to them."
