While Michael Schumacher was working at the Mugello circuit, Ferrari's test driver Luca Badoer began testing at the Fiorano track on Thursday.
The Italian driver, who tested at Mugello on Tuesday and Wednesday, travelled to Fiorano to test the electronics systems of the F2001, completing a total of 28 laps, 15 of them around the short version of the track. Badoer also practised starts, but no times were issued.
Following Schumacher's accident at Mugello, Ferrari decided to withdraw from the Mugello testing session, but Badoer will continue working at Fiorano on Friday.
