Having being forced to leave the Mugello circuit one day earlier than expected following Michael Schumacher's accident on Thursday, the Ferrari team continued working at their Fiorano test track on Friday.
Test driver Luca Badoer was again at the wheel of the World Champion F2001, the Italian carrying out more electronics work and also practising starts to test the team's launch control system. Badoer completed 34 laps, 22 of them around the short version of Fiorano, but no times were issued by the team.
Badoer will resume his work at Fiorano on Saturday.
