 New Sponsorship Deal for BAR Tuesday December 18th, 2001 The BAR Honda team have signed a sponsorship agreement with sportswear brand Brunotti for the 2002 season, the Brackley-based team announced today. "Brunotti is a very exciting brand and we are delighted to welcome the company to the team and the 2002 car livery," said BAR marketing director Mike McGuire. "We look forward to developing a programme of innovative promotional opportunities to help them maximise the benefits of our partnership." "Brunotti is a pure and striking lifestyle brand and we strongly believe that the image and quality of our Sportswear, Footwear, Boards, Optics and personal care fit in the world of Formula One," added Henk Bergsma, Managing Director of Brunotti. "We are delighted to be given the chance to make our introduction to the sport with BAR." The announcement was made during the launch of the new BAR 004, with which the team will compete in 2002.
