Schumacher Continues Working at Mugello

Wednesday February 7th, 2001

World Champion Michael Schumacher continued development work on Ferrari's new F2001 car at Mugello on Wednesday with a second successive trouble-free day.

The reigning world champion had his day hampered on Monday when an engine injection system cost him track time but the German driver enjoyed a trouble-free day as he completed 56 laps of the Italian circuit.

Schumacher, who posted a quickest lap time of 1:24.579, will continue development work on Thursday.
