Bad Weather Hinders Jordan's Silverstone Test

Thursday February 8th, 2001

Bad weather hindered Jordan's private testing session at the Silverstone circuit on Thursday.

Cold and damp conditions in Northamptonshire forced the team to abandon testing.

Test driver Ricardo Zonta completed fifteen laps in the morning as the Jordan team focused on oil system developments and practiced pit-stops with the new regulation refuelling rigs.

The team, who were on their own at the track, did not get the new EJ11 car back out on track in the afternoon due to the weather and will not return to testing until February 12 at the Valencia circuit in Spain.
