Ferrari Unable to Do Long Distance Run

Saturday February 10th, 2001

Ferrari were unable to perform the planned long-distance run in testing at Mugello on Saturday and had to do work on settings for the F2001.

Rubens Barrichello was expected to perform a long-distance run, but the Italian circuit was hit by wet weather and the Brazilian instead did a warm-up run on the F2001.

Barrichello ran with both wet and intermediate Bridgestone tyres during a three-hour workout. He completed 25 laps with a best time of 1:31.665.
