Magny-Cours Announces New Facility Plans

Saturday February 17th, 2001

The French Grand Prix will take a slightly different look in 2001 with redevelopment plans set to be completed for the race's July 1 date.

Four new grandstands will be added to the circuit which will provide an extra 4610 seats. The grandstands will be temporary with the infrastructure of the circuit set to be revised in 2002.

Nine giant screens will also be set around the track to ensure the spectators get a detailed view of the race.
