Thursday June 14th, 2001

The Ferrari team and Fila Holding have signed a three year licensing contract for the production and worldwide distribution of Ferrari-branded clothing and footwear from sports giant.

The agreement means Fila will become the official supplier to Ferrari for race team kit and also off-duty clothing, replacing Tommy Hilfiger, who currently supplies the Italian team.

Fila will also be present as a supplier and in joint marketing operations at all the rounds of the Ferrari Challenge series in the USA, Europe and Japan. The agreement will start in 2002 and it will run until 2004, with an option to renew for the following year.
