After scoring his first Formula One point of the season two weeks ago at the Canadian Grand Prix, Jaguar's Pedro de la Rosa expects to continue with his improved form and score again at Sunday's European Grand Prix.
The Spanish driver outqualified teammate Eddie Irvine for the first time in Canada since joining the Milton Keynes team, and he completed a solid race to finish in sixth position.
Now de la Rosa, who last year drove a brilliant race at the European Grand Prix, hopes he can continue to fight for the points at the Nurburgring circuit.
"Now that I have a point I hope to continue the positive streak," de la Rosa said. "This is one of my favourites tracks in the championship because it brings back good memories.
"The R2 has improved a lot since the beginning of the season. We should do better here than in Canada because there are a variety of turns where you need more downforce."
