The new Jordan is the best car to come from the Silverstone-based team since Heinz-Harald Frentzen joined the team, according to the German driver.
Frentzen put the new EJ11 onto the second row of the grid in qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix, and was delighted with its performance.
"Until now I haven't really wanted to talk about the car," Frentzen said. "But now the cat's out the bag so to speak, people can see that the car is quick. The EJ11 is the best Jordan car I have ever driven.
"The true test will be during tomorrow's race. But I'm very happy with everything so far."
His Italian team-mate Jarno Trulli, however, was not satisfied after he struggled to understand a change in the car's behaviour after the morning session.
"We are looking at data to analyse the reasons," said Trulli of the handling problem. "We now have to concentrate on improving things for the race."
