The Ferrari team concluded on Saturday their preparations for next weeks's Malaysian Grand Prix, with both Rubens Barrichello and Luca Badoer working at the Fiorano track.
Barrichello continued working on the aerodynamics development programme with the F2001, but after only seven laps the Brazilian noticed an engine problem, so the engineers decided to replace it, continuing working in the afternoon.
Barrichello completed 40 laps on rain tyres, with a best time of 1:06.193, while his fastest lap in the dry was 1:00.359.
Meanwhile, Badoer carried on testing electronic solutions for the Spanish Grand Prix and did a total of 26 laps, with a best time of 1:01.739.
The team will leave for Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
