Brazilian driver Luciano Burti has admitted he is pleased to be able to work with veteran Frenchman Jean Alesi as his new team mate at the Prost Grand Prix team.
26-year old Burti, on his first full season in Formula One, raced for Jaguar in the first four Grands Prix of the year, then switching to the Prost team to replace Argentine Gaston Mazzacane alongside Alesi, currently the most experienced driver in the sport.
Burti, who made his Formula One debut at last year's Austrian Grand Prix when he replaced an injured Eddie Irvine at Jaguar, confessed he is enjoying being Alesi's team mate this season.
"I admire Jean a lot", said Burti. "He's very fast and knows how to work for the team. It's great to work with him and I am very lucky to have him as a team mate.
"In fact, I can only say good things about my team mates in F1. In Austria last year, I raced with Johnny Herbert, which was a great guy and a GP winner. With Eddie I had a very good relationship. We always shared information and he taught me a lot about F1.
"Besides, he is bloody fast in both race and qualifying, so he always pushed me to the limit. I know that I will have the same kind of thing with Jean, as they are both experienced, former Ferrari drivers and GP winners."
