Ferrari driver Rubens Barrichello is finding it hard to get the enjoyment out of Formula One as a top competitor. The Brazilian is in his second year with Ferrari and he is finding that life is not as easy as it was in his early days.
"Now I am in the top for most of the time," said Barrichello. "And it is harder to get enjoyment out of that as you are in a very competitive environment. If you are fourth that means you have to do a better job.
"I used to be a mid-field player with an uncompetitive car and it was great to qualify around 13 or 14 in a car that was really only good enough for 16 or 17. That was so enjoyable."
Barrichello is currently third in the Championship and claimed second place in Monaco behind his teammate Michael Schumacher.
