Jaguar Set Launch Date for New Car

Thursday November 1st, 2001

The Jaguar team announced on Thursday they will unveil their new car for the 2002 season on January 4th in the United Kingdom.

This way, the Milton Keynes-based outfit became the third Formula One team to announce their launch date, with Toyota and British American Racing having already confirmed they will unveil their cars on December 17th and 18th respectively.

The Ford-owned Jaguar team, as most of their rivals, are willing to have their new car ready as soon as possible in order to begin testing right after the test ban ends in January.
