Button Hopes to Get Rid of Back Problems

Friday November 2nd, 2001

Jenson Button has said he wants to rid himself of a problematic back injury when he takes part in a strict fitness regime in Kenya this month.

Briton Button, who will complete his second year of a loan spell at the Benetton team next season, will go to Kenya with Benetton teammate Jarno Trulli for the fitness workout.

"I will work on my back because I have quite a few back pains in the car," said Button. "I also need to sort out the seat for next year. And my upper-body needs work too, but not my neck.

"There are no problems with my shoulder now. I can lift weights now and everything."
