Jordan Not Rushing New Car Launch

Tuesday November 6th, 2001

The Jordan team have announced they will not launch their 2002 car until mid-to-late January, failing to follow the trend set by Toyota, BAR and Jaguar.

Both the Japanese outfit and British American Racing announced they will unveil their new challengers in December, while the Ford-owned Jaguar team will do it on January 4 in order to test as much as possible after the testing ban which comes to an end in January.

However, the new Jordan EJ12 will be unveiled later, as the Honda-powered team hope to develop their 2002 challenger right up to the last minute.
