Wednesday November 21st, 2001

Four time Formula One World Champion Alain Prost is set to file for bankruptcy, French TV station LCI reported tonight.

The Frenchman, owner of Prost Grand Prix, is set to report debts of almost $30 million, citing loss of sponsorship as one of the reasons for his financial difficulties.

According to LCI's report, Prost is due to file his motion perhaps as early as tomorrow (Thursday), and as a consequence may find his team liquidated.
