Cosworth Racing Appoint New CEO

Wednesday November 28th, 2001

Following the retirement of Trevor Crisp, Jaguar's engine suppliers Cosworth Racing have appointed Brendan Connor as their new CEO and managing director.

49-year old Connor, a former member of the Royal Navy, will report directly to Niki Lauda, who is the head of Ford's Premier Performance Division, and will work in conjunction with engineering managing director Nick Hayes.

"Cosworth is a distinguished and renowned brand and I am convinced that with new leadership we will continue to build on our enviable heritage to deliver winning engines at the very forefront of technology," Lauda said.
