Sauber Sign New Partnership Agreement

Friday October 26th, 2001

The Sauber team announced on Friday they have signed an agreement with Paninfo AG, who will provide the Swiss outfit with information technology hardware and services starting in January, 2002.

"As Formula One becomes more and more competitive, information technology becomes more and more important," said team boss Peter Sauber. "The development and operation of our race cars require high-performance IT that is absolutely reliable.

"I am sure that, with Paninfo AG we have found a partner that will meet our high expectations."

Paninfo, a Switzerland-based company like Sauber, works exclusively with IBM products and has been a market player since 1978.

"Paninfo has deep and proven experience in planning, implementing and servicing complex IT solutions," Paninfo CEO Kurt D. Weber said. "With our products and our know-how, we are sure that we will contribute to the future success of the Sauber team."
