Flavio Briatore (Benetton, Ligier), has confirmed the actual Benetton F1 team will remain the same for the 1997 season.
This means that Gerhard Berger and Jean Alesi will drive for Benetton in 1997. Jean Alesi has done a good job the last couple of races and Gerhard Berger did also very well but he didn't have much luck with two engine blows in two Grands Prix.
