Magny-Cours test; Lawsuit against Ecclestone

Olivier Panis was the fastest man on the track with a time of 1m 15.34s. He performed a Bridgestone long-run test. Frentzen was second.

Pedro Diniz tested the revised Yamaha spec C engine with a best time of 1m 18.95s.


Lawsuit against Ecclestone

Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone is being sued by Patrick Peter, a founder of the BPR organisation, because of the Ecclestone quest of monopolising Formula One television. Peter accuses Ecclestone of stealing customers and is claiming damages before a Paris (France) court. The amount totals 25 million dollars.
