David Richards, head of Prodrive, the company that runs the Subaru world rally championship team, announced that Benetton has rejected a bid by Prodrive to take control of the Italian Team.

"The facts are that earlier this year I showed interest in this and it was made very clear to me that Benetton was not for sale. That ended our negotiations. (...) It is true that we wanted to do it (buy Benetton)," Richards said. "But only on our terms and conditions, providing everything was acceptable to us, but that was not going to happen."

More power for Ferrari

Ferrari will use the 046/2 engine in Monza next weekend, only during qualifying. The new 046/2 engine can produce 500 revs more. The amount of horsepower is estimated to be 780.
