This was Scuderia Ferrari-Marlboro's third day of testing this week at the Fiorano circuit. This morning at 10.30 with sunny skies, Eddie Irvine began testing with the F399. The Irish driver continued working on his driving position. He also made some changes to adjust the set-up of the car. Irvine did several runs of around ten laps with no technical problems on the car. By the end of the day, he completed a total of 72 laps, with a best time of 1:02.583.

Testing continues tomorrow for Ferrari at Fiorano with Eddie Irvine.
