Frentzen criticizes Ferrari

In a recent interview with german magazine "Sport Auto", Heinz-Harald Frentzen said that he does not think Ferrari's Michael Schumacher will win the world championship this year. "After seeing their performance at Melbourne I must say it seems they are taking steps backwards in terms of performance," said the Jordan driver.

Frentzen also said that he believed Ferrari received a "wake up call." "I think Ferrari's problem is that they are always testing alone, in private. Thus, they are not able to see what the other teams are doing," he said.

Frentzen also referred to the tyre situations, saying: "the new tyres are not helping to close up the field. The big difference is the aerodynamics of the top teams. They are able to build their cars around the new harder Bridgestone Tires." He added that there are two ways to make Formula One more exciting - either the FIA limits the amount of development in aerodynamics, or offer McLaren's designer, Adrian Newey, early retirement...
