The BAR team's progress went from bad to worse this morning when Ricardo Zonta crashed heavily at the fast Ferradura corner . He lost control of his BAR-Supertech going into the corner , the front right suspension appearing to have a problem before he hit the barrier with the left side of the car at well over 100 mph. The impact saw Zonta suffer a fracture to his left foot and he was flown to hospital for treatment. He remained conscious and other X-rays revealed no other injuries from the accident. He will not take any further part in the Brazilian GP.
