ITV has signed a new deal with Bernie Ecclestone to broadcast the Grands Prix until 2005. The new deal is reckoned to be worth £70 million and the current dispute over ITV's right to broadcast Saturday's qualifying session has also been resolved. Ecclestone is also said to be on the verge of negotiating a deal to show F1 on a British digital TV channel for next season.
